Long story short — the best oral presentation was awarded to Maciej Chrzanowski, for his talk on Synthesis of double shell type-II semiconductor nanocrystals for lasing applications. The best poster presentation was awarded to Katarzyna Brach, for her poster describing DNA liquid crystals doped with AuAg nanoclusters.
Presentations — rules
Dear, please know that this year the rules of presentations are as follows:
- speech: 12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions and discussion
- poster: portrait orientation, B1 format maximum (short side: 707 mm or 27.83 in).
Please remember to keep these rules.

Contest
We are glad to inform that the Royal Society of Chemistry, the publisher of Nanoscale Horizons, will reward the best speech and the best poster presentation with a prize. Each prize consists of a signed certificate and a free one year subscription to the journal Nanoscale.

Within the frame of PANIC, students and PhD students will give their presentations in topics:
- Photonic devices,
- Biophotonics,
- Nanocrystals and nanoparticles,
- Semiconductor nanostructures,
- Functional chemistry,
- Organic electronics and photonics.
In these sessions the stage will belong only to young scientists, MSc and PhD students who have just started their scientific career.
