Eric Daniel Glowacki studied duel degrees in chemistry and history at the University of Rochester, USA, graduating with a BSc and MSc in 2009 and 2010, respectively. In Rochester, he completed his chemistry thesis work under the supervision Ching Tang. From 2007 to 2010, he worked at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics in Rochester on liquid crystalline optical materials. He completed his PhD in 2013 under the guidance of Serdar Sariciftci and Siegfried Bauer at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria in the field of nature-inspired semiconducting materials. Since 2015, he was Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry at Johannes Kepler University, with research focused on nanoscale organic crystalline materials for bioelectronics and photochemistry applications. Currently, he is Lecturer at the Linköping University, Sweden. (source 1 and 2)
